Important Update: Return to School

Dear Parents,

Greetings of peace and safety!

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your continued support of the school and, most importantly, for your children during the recent transition to distance learning as a precautionary measure in response to regional security concerns.

Your cooperation, patience, and resilience throughout this period have been invaluable in ensuring continuity in learning.

We understand that distance learning has presented unique challenges for families and educators alike. Adjusting to new routines, managing schedules, and maintaining engagement have not been easy. However, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and the wider school community have always remained our top priority.

Please also take note of the following:

  • Monday, 20th April will be a distance learning day for all students.

  • From Tuesday, 21st April 2026, both in-school and online classes for all year groups will begin at 8:00 AM.

  • Students must bring their own packed lunch, as the canteen will remain closed.

  • Outdoor activities and access to open spaces are suspended until further notice.

  • An updated timetable and weekly learning trails for both online and face-to-face will be shared on Edunation on Sunday, 19th April.

  • A new MS Teams channel has been created for online students.

  • For your reference, excerpts from the Gradual Return Protocol Training for Schools are attached.

In accordance with Ministry requirements, a follow-up survey will be shared on Monday with parents who have selected online learning. The survey aims to gather data on the reasons behind this decision, and your participation is essential for accurate analysis and compliance. We kindly request that all relevant parents complete it upon receipt.

We remain committed to supporting every student’s academic progress in both distance and hybrid learning. Any learning gaps will be addressed through targeted support and structured interventions to ensure all students achieve their expected outcomes.

Thank you once again for your trust, cooperation, and partnership.

Warm regards,
EIS Administration
