Admission Procedure
Thank you for choosing Excel International School! As one of the most popular British international schools in Al Ain, we have very limited seats available. We highly encourage you to start the admissions process as early as possible to secure a place for your child at our esteemed British school in Al Ain.
ONLINE ADMISSION PROCESS FOR PARENTS
Click here to register your child. You will be redirected to the Online Admissions Portal.
The signup process for Parents
- Click on “Create an account”• Enter your Email ID and click on “Send OTP.”• You will receive an email with the OTP for signing up.• Enter the OTP on the sign-up Screen, set a Password and Confirm the Password• Click on “Next”• Enter your Name, Relationship with applicant and Mobile Number,• Click on “Sign Up”• You will be signed into the admission portal.• You will also receive a Sign-up confirmation email shortly.
Login Process
- Enter your username (Email) & the password used for signup during the previous step• Click on “Login”
Application Form
- Once you are logged in, click on “Register Student.”• Choose the School Applying for as: “Excel International School” – Please ensure that you are choosing the correct school. We will not be responsible if you choose the incorrect school from the drop-down.• After you choose the school, the application form is displayed with a popup of all the documents(Mandatory/Non-Mandatory) that are recorded in the system.• You may close the Pop-up and begin filling the Admission Form.• Click “Next” after filling Student Details and Previous School Details (if any).
- You must fill the parent information and then click on “Next” to move on to the documentscreen.• All the documents are not needed when filling the admission form. Only the documents markedas “*” are mandatory and need to be uploaded• Tick the check box against the “disclaimer” and click on “Submit”.• You will see a pop-up to confirm the submission. Click on “Submit” once again.
- Your child will be invited for a baseline assessment/interview session to the school, where he/she will take part in age-appropriate activities designed so that we can understand your child more fully. These sessions are usually held with a small group of children.Whilst your child is being assessed, our team will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. We will confirm whether we are able to offer your child a place at the earliest, once the education team concludes a full review of the baseline assessment / Interview.
Waiting log
In case there are no more seats available, the online applications will be converted into a waiting log. As soon as seats become available across grades, the applicants will be called sequentially as per their waiting log number.
Age rule from ADEK
Please take note of the age rule directive from ADEK as follows:

Junior KG | 4 years |
Senior KG | 5 years |
Grade 1 | 6 - 8 years |
Admission will be granted on the following conditions
- Siblings are given a priority.
- Strict compliance to school’s policies and agreement to regular payment.
- The baseline assessment results of the applicant will be considered.
- Students with complete documents will be considered first.
- Admission will not be given to siblings of fees defaulters and irregular fee payers.
- The decision of the Head Teacher remains final.
- Parents agree that admission automatically entails consent on the fee payment policy & transport policy of the school.
- The registration fee which is collected at the time of admission is non-refundable.
Documents required
- Student’s passport copy with visa page.
- Father’s (Sponsor’s) passport copy with visa page.
- 4 passport size photographs of student.
- Copy of Birth certificate, if not issued in UAE, then it must be attested from:
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- Countersigned by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.
- Immunization (Vaccination) card.
- Original Emirates ID of student and both parents.
- Proof of Student’s Residential Address (Provide Water & Electricity Bill or House renting or ownership contract or correct location as Plot No, Road no (for Al Ain), Sector (community), Zone (or District for Al Ain).
- Statement of Marks/Report card for Grade2 and above.
- Original Transfer Certificate (TC), if not issued in UAE, then it must be attested from:
- Ministry of Education or the Education Office in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- Countersigned by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.
